| A global revolution is underway. In countless,
unsung ways we are turning from the self-devouring consumerist society and
preparing the ground for a life-sustaining civilization. A key feature of
this Great Turning is rediscovery of our interconnectedness with all life-forms,
and the power that this deep ecology provides us for the healing of our
world. In these days together we will learn how to tap this power in our
own lives.
About the Facilitators

to empower agents of social change. Joanna is a Buddhist teacher, systems

Walking the Bodhisattva Path
activism as a spiritual journey
This four day retreat
facilitated by Joanna and Lama Chime, offers a spiritual fraemwork for
social and environmental change, and the opportunity to develop practices
to ustain our actions in the long term.
The Bodhisattva Path is one of deepening awareness with the intention
to serve all beings. All are welcome to attend, and young(ish) activists
are particularly encouraged. You don't have to be, or become, a Buddhist

Tools for the Shambhala Warrior

Shambhala Warriors are Bodhisattvas who actively engage in healing through
the practice of compassion and insight. Joanna and Fran will provide
us with the keys to Deep Ecology Work which will enable us to:
Understand and be able to articulate to others the peril, pain and promise
in this time of crisis.
Recognize and develop our inner resources, while uncovering our individual
gifts and abilities for our part in the Great Turning.
Acquire familiarity with experiential practices and skills for facilitating
groups.
Build among us a strong, co-creative community that will endure and
support us across time & distance.
