TASMANIA "This we need to know: How to participate creatively
in the wildness of the world about us. For it is out of the wild depths
of the Universe and of our own Being that the greater visions must come."

The Gaia Foundation of Tasmania is a part of an international network of individuals and Gaia groups, which share concerns with living more sustainable on the Earth. Members of the Tasmanian Gaia Foundation are committed to its three objectives; The Members of the Foundation fulfil these commitments through engaging in Gaia Projects, either by creating new initiatives, working together with other Gaia Members, or by working with other organisations. Thus
All activities of the Foundation are created as independent "projects". Each project is independent, autonomous self-governing and self-funded. The projects are the personal responsibility of all those involved, through their own power and authority. All projects inform and support each other to meet the three objectives. The unique interconnectedness and the isolation of the Tasmanian community, encourages a vibrant energy exchange system between the projects. The Gaia Foundation works to build bridges between groups of people that may otherwise not be in close relationship. Membership is open to all regardless of race, class, gender, sexual preference, age, nationality, marital status, and religious or political affiliation. What is required is for those wishing to become members of the Foundation to communicate their intention to the Gaia Foundation Networking Project, which maintains a registry of members, the projects and the energy exchange records. If you are interested in becoming an active participating member of the Gaia Foundation, please contact us on (03)62577520 and we can tell you what is involved.
