| A final farewell and celebration of our beloved Vivienne was held at King's Park on Wednesday 18th August at 10:00am. at the amphitheatre near the Saw Ave picnic area. |
Vivienne died at 7:40am Monday 16th August among her friends at Gaia House on Monday morning ending her month long journey with a highly malignant brain tumour.
The gathering at King's Park was a celebration of Vivienne's life and all that we love so much about her. Those attending brought lots of flowers, bright colours, songs and memories to share.
The celebration was followed by a simple funeral at Karrakatta at 2:15pm. People were welcome to come to the Crematorium to walk the last few steps to the chapel where John and Lana and Vivienne said a last goodbye alone
Those involved report that the event was a special one, a fitting celebration of the life of this remarkable woman.
